These images taken by Photographer Normann Szklop seem almost fake due to the vibrance and the conformity of the rows of flowers but the fact that they are indeed natural makes them even more wonderful.

Like the rose acts as a floral symbol for the UK it is the tulip which has come to be a loved symbol of the Netherlands. Many tourists visit the country just to see the bright coloured flowers and the astonishing view over the bulb fields. But it’s not just Tulips which keep Holland’s fields vivid with colour. The  floral season begins with crocuses, followed by the daffodil and the yellow narcissi. Next the hyacinths and tulips blossom followed by the glorious gladioli. Now all we need is for the AirPano guys to take an ariel 360 over these patchwork fields. If a pano were to be taken during each different seasons we would get to see just how the natural landscape changes in it’s beauty.

The cultivation of flower bulbs began more than 400 years ago and today Holland produces more than nine billion bulbs every year, of which two thirds are exported overseas. Evenly distributed, this number would allow for almost two flower bulbs for every person on the planet. Isn’t that a lovely thought.

Dubai based photographer Gerald Donovan was lucky enough to be given access to take a panoramic image from the top of the tallest building on earth, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa. The images were taken from 828 metres above sea level creating a spectacular view of the unique city.

Many of Dubai’s landmarks can be seen within the panoramic, including the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel, the Dubai Mall and the Meydan Racecourse.

The images were shot using a mechanised panoramic tripod head and each image making up the final panoramic has a resolution of 80 megapixels. Once reaching the 160th floor of the Burj Khalifa by lift there was still a steep 200 metre ladder climb up the spire before reaching the pinnacle of the building.

Donovan is no stranger to heights, in 2010 he created the world’s largest ever digital panorama from the 42nd floor of the then under-construction U-Bora Towers in Dubai’s Business Bay. He said, “I shot a 45 gigapixel panorama of the Dubai skyline in April 2010 – at the time, the world’s largest ever digital panorama, and thought that a panorama from the pinnacle of the Burj Khalifa would be a great way to top that. The Burj Khalifa is a perfect building for shooting a 360 degree pano from the top of, because its ‘roof’ is only 1.5 meters across.This means that you can shoot from a single location and capture the entire view, without the building itself getting in the way”

If heights are your thing or you just like to scare yourself Jun Ahn has created a series of self portrait photographs of herself dangling off the top of some of the tallest skyscrapers in the world.

The fearless artist from from Seoul, South Korea, started the project in 2008 and has scaled around 14 skyscrapers and apartment blocks in her native city as well as New York and Hong Kong to pose at the dizzying heights.

The images of Jun’s feet dangling hundreds of feet above the busy city streets below creates a stomach churning sensation to those viewers who are less partial to heights.

Our own photographer and dog lover Neil has tried to start a similar thing by sneaking his own dog into his Google Business Photos tours.

We were also asked by some playful chefs if they could hide themselves within the Google tour of The Pheasant Inn so that they may challenge the Inn’s owner  to find their hiding place within the tour. Hiding items, or Easter eggs as the geeks would say, is a good marketing technique Google tour owners may use to get viewers to take a look around their whole tour.
